Many people learn from their parents how to take care of each other. Most couples plan to take care of each other till the end. Some people volunteer their talents to help organisations, neighbours, friends and acquaintances or take care of needy people. They all appreciate meeting kindred spirits. Such encounters arise independently of rulers and churches.
In times of moral crisis like ours, these encounters are of irreplaceable social value. Not a quote from a church authority but the exchange of experiences and thoughts on current issues of the grassroots is the key to a meaningful decision in a private situation in a particular country. Jesus taught his disciples to ask which decission suits the best caring for each other and especially caring for the needy.
This development does not need teaching but the dialogue on a particular issue might be made attractive by starting with a reading and a simple meal.
